SWIA functions as a partner and key fiscal agent for the NOAA TRNERR and SWIA staff are stationed at and work directly in support of the TRNERR research program. These staff are responsible for the development and implementation of coastal process and climate change adaptation projects at the Tijuana River Estuary and other coastal wetlands in southern California.
